Dr Teuila Percival QSO FRACP

Dr Teuila Percival is a Consultant Paediatrician based at Kidz First and a Senior Lecturer at the School of Population Health at Auckland University. She led the establishment and development of community-based Pacific Primary Care Provider Southseas Healthcare and is the current Chairperson.

Dr Percival has worked for more than 15 years with particular interests in Pacific Health, Community Child Health and Child Protection. She has worked in the Pacific region in both a clinical and research role with a focus on Maternal Child Health, Climate change, Child Obesity and Health Systems.

In 2006 Dr Percival was recognised for her work in the pacific health sector by the Pasifika Medical Association where she was presented with a lifetime award. In 2010 she was awarded a Companion of the Queens Service Order. Dr Percival is also the Chairperson of Fale Futures Trust a social housing provider.
